Assistance getting out of bed, rest room, washing up at the sink, and brushing teeth. Taking a shower. shower is every other day in lieu of washing up at the sink. Towel dry and blow dry Hair

Dressing for the day’s activities

Prepare meals for client and assist with eating & drinking

Taking supplements.
(all transfers are done with an electric ceiling lift to aide you, no brute strength or Hoyer lift)
Client on her own 1 -1 1/2 hours (Approx)

Return early afternoon prepare lunch assist with eating & drinking & rest room.

Return late afternoon prepare dinner assist with eating & drinking & rest room.

Return early /mid evening & assist client with brushing teeth & getting in bed
There are many menial tasks not mentioned here, but these are the primary tasks for each day. The daily schedule like life is dynamic and cannot be put into a minute-by-minute exact schedule. On average you can expect to work somewhere between 71/2 to 9 hours a day, 5 days per week. weekend off. There is a weekend caregiver, and the client goes to parents home every other week.
EXPECTATIONS;

The client's well-being and needs are to your top priority.

Should for some reason you are not able to meet the client's needs you are to contact the clients' parents immediately.

When the client is in the Shower or Rest Room, she is to be within hearing range at all times. She is not to be left unattended in any situation that may cause her harm, no matter how minor

When left by herself, there is to be some form of communication worked out in advance. Your cell phone can be setup on her iPad.

You are to be aware of her schedule(s) at all times and be certain that she is ready in advance for whatever event that is scheduled.

You are to assisting the client in her physical needs i.e., hygiene, eating, dressing,
Transferring in all capacities, and keep her residence in good clean order
7. You are to make certain that client’s residence is secure at all times and that her iPad
is accessible to her and in charged.
8. Report any maintenance needs or repairs pertaining to client's van and/or home in a
timely Manner to avoid costly repairs.
9. Meals are to be coordinated with the client. Meals are to be a balanced diet.
Periodic –Routine tasks

Take client grocery shopping at least once per month. There are times it may be twice, or you may have to go get a small item. Client is to go with you on the big shopping trips and play a role in decisions.

Periodic (weekly Outings) trips to the mall, Target, Wal-Mart, or other places the client might wish to go for general shopping and outings.

Periodic Doctor’s appointments

Small errands for client.

Assist client with bill paying. Client signs checks, you would assist in opening, writing checks, stuffing envelopes, and getting in the mailbox.

Assist with client’s document filing once per month. Files and folders are in place.
House keeping

Keep client’s laundry done and put up

Keep client bedroom in good order

Vacuum once per week

Dust every other week
-
Deep clean client’s bathroom once per week

Clean up dishes after each meal and wipe down counters and table.

Feed client’s cat daily and clean cat box

Keep up with grocery list and discard outdated food items
